Breast Cancer Basics

By Danny Montea

Pinpointing the exact cause of breast cancer is no longer a priority as it has been noted that different people's cancer is caused by different free radicals in the body. However some risk factors has been established like excessive amount of estrogen and alcohol contained in blood, too much fat deposit and also hormone therapy known to cause an imbalance in the body's hormonal balance. Taking note of these risk factors can help you steer clear of breast cancer.

A lot of people believe that it is impossible for men to develop breast cancer. What they don't know is that no matter how undeveloped the man's breast is, it still has its own tissues. These tissues as well can develop malignant cell growth causing breast cancer. So as a man, you need to also pay attention to information on breast cancer as you are not exactly free from it.

The actual cause of breast cancer is not known, but cancer growth generally has been linked to the presence of free radicals in the body. These free radicals are usually gotten from preservatives, herbicides and pesticides after effect on our food stuffs and imbalances in the body's hormone caused by hormonal therapy. It will be wise to choose carefully the kind of food you eat as they may contain free radical producing elements.

The general state of your body is a factor in the determination of the risk you face regarding breast cancer. Maintaining a state of good health will help lower the risk you stand of developing breast cancer. You should involve in activities like exercise, yoga, walking or Tai-Chi to help keep your health in good shape.

Meat and dairy products are known to increase estrogen content of the human system. Estrogen is a known risk increasing factor of breast cancer. You cannot be asked to stay away from these food materials as they are good sources of protein which is essential for the body, but limiting the consumption of these products may help you prevent breast cancer.

A bad side effect of breast cancer treatment is the experiencing of a premature menopause. This makes the vagina dry, and sex more painful than fun. If you are experiencing this after your breast cancer treatment, you should see your doctor immediately and have him/her refer you to a sex related defect professional.

Breast awareness is a process whereby women get intimate with their breast and detect abnormalities on or within the breast. This should be practiced by all females young or old for even if it is not common, breast cancer has been diagnosed in young females too.

The size of your breast does not increase or reduce your chances of having breast cancer. The rumor that ladies with bigger breast are more prone to breast cancer cannot be more wrong. The size of your breast has totally nothing to do with the chances of having breast cancer. Do not be led into a state of paranoia by these rumors.

Breast cancer treatment can be associated with side effects. Some of these side effects are mild while some are severe. If you tend to experience the severe kind of breast cancer treatment side effects such as limbs numbness, it is advised that you report to your doctor immediately and have your treatment changed.

There are many rumors concerning the development of breast cancer. If you are not careful, you can be led into believing safe things are cancer related. It is advised that when you start having concerns about breast cancer, you talk to medical professionals and not listen to rumors on the street.

Diagnostic scanning is vital in the work-up of breast malignancies. as knowledgable as possible in order to make sure you get the right test.

Cosmetic Surgery Options You Have To Choose From

By Dawn Enstruthe

Today, the wealthy and the famous are no longer the only individuals who can undergo cosmetic surgery. Every year, more and more individuals even from the lower class groups in society opt for some form of plastic surgery, and the stigma that was once associated with such procedures has dissolved. In fact, many people today are even proud to tell others about the surgical methods they have undergone to improve their bodies and appearances.

Cosmetic surgery is often confused with plastic surgery. These two are not the same. Plastic surgery is divided into two categories: cosmetic surgery and reconstructive surgery. Cosmetic surgery focuses on aesthetic interests of the patients. Reconstructive surgery, on the other hand, concentrates on body features that are malformed or have been seriously damaged. Unlike reconstructive surgery, cosmetic surgery is considered elective. Despite this fact, it can do a lot to improve one's sense of self.

Majority of the individuals who seek cosmetic surgery are those who had experienced significant mockery about their facial appearance or body figure all the way through adulthood, or have failed many times to do something about the aspect of their appearance which they find unappealing. Because of this, cosmetic surgery has somewhat a psychological effect on the patients. Almost everyone who had undergone cosmetic surgery became more confident about themselves.

Generally, cosmetic surgery concentrates on the face or the upper part of the body. Some examples of the procedures that involve the face are face lifts, eye lifts and brow lifts. Another example which is among the most common procedures for the face is a nose job, medically known as rhinoplasty. The reasons for having a nose job include straightening the bridge of the nose, removing a hump, full re-sculpting or full straightening of the nose, and having the entire nose shortened.

Among the most common cosmetic procedures for the body include those involving the breasts. Examples are breast lifts, breast reduction, and breast augmentation. Breast lifts are usually done for older women since they are normally the ones with breasts that are starting to sag. Breast reduction is for women gifted with breasts that are too big while breast augmentation is for women who are not so lucky. Breast augmentation is very common among celebrities.

The other procedures involving the body center on removal of fatty deposits. These include liposuction and the tummy tuck. Liposuction is the removal of fat from practically any part of the body while the tummy tuck is the tightening of the unwanted fat and skin in the abdominal area, resulting in a flat belly.

Despite the benefits one can get from cosmetic surgery in terms of appearance and self-esteem, it must not be forgotten that cosmetic surgery is not failsafe. As with any other surgical procedure, the result may not always be a successful. In fact, many individuals have developed unwanted side effects after going through cosmetic surgery and even worse, some have died from it. If you plan to undergo cosmetic surgery, I suggest you think again. Also, make sure that the surgeon who will work on you is a competent one whose past surgeries are all successful as much as possible. Be aware of the possible complications and prepare yourself for them in any case.

Life Insurance Policy Do You Have One For Protection

By John Fagan

Those who are looking at buying whole life insurance policies need to first understand the finer nuances of what constitutes a good coverage plan, but this comes after determining their personal situation in regards to financial needs of the full family.

As in the case of life insurance, policyholders buy just the required amount of coverage they feel may be needed to meet their family's financial needs in the event of their death, but since there is term as well as whole-life insurance plans - besides many other types of policies available today, a buyer can well be confused about which policy suits him or her best. This is why the aware shopper needs to get the chosen coverage plan be it whole-life insurance policy or even a term policy, explained by a professional.

For instance, term-life insurance policy buying procedure is very different from purchasing standard life insurance plans, as one need to have proper knowledge about one's personal needs. Buyers also need to learn how to calculate the ideal amount of coverage for their specific needs. Thus, it is imperative for buyers keen on term life insurance to understand what this type of policy offers, other benefits besides low costs of the premiums that make it a sound financial repayment plan for them.

All these rapid market changes in the US insurance industry is making it important for buyers to be aware of their own future financial needs based on their current and anticipated financial responsibilities. Some of these can include home mortgage, starting a family, putting kids through college - all major expenses, in order to get quotes and compare various policy features as offered by different providers to finally purchase a plan that meets their financial needs best.

With higher premiums at stake and a lot more benefits than a policy, the whole life plan is a financial protection tool that should be shopped with more care and thus, it makes good sense to research various insurance companies, features offered by them and their T & C regarding coverage.

This is because rates vary from company to company even though most insurers are offering the same coverage, so it is smart to try and figure out how much coverage is required, get quotes from several companies (thank goodness for the internet, which makes this task easy and fast) and then select the best deal from a list of potential providers, giving best coverage at affordable rates.

Therefore, these policies that offer features one can customize according to changing financial needs and circumstances such as offered by Adjustable, Variable Or Universal policies all allow for certain components of the plan to be adapted by the policy owner as per requirement - and thus, are the best type of insurance policy there is today.

Ubiquitous Coriolus Mushroom vs. Cancer

By Dr. Markho Rafael

The mushroom Coriolus versicolor (Turkey Tail Mushroom) is the most ubiquitous mushroom in the world. It grows on fallen trees and stumps from the sub-arctic to the tropics.

So considering these vastly different environments and all the other fungi and bacteria it has to compete with for survival, it's a qualified guess the Coriolus has a strong immune system, with an array of potential medicinal compounds.

In Oriental medicine, Coriolus extract is used as a remedy for liver cancer and jaundice. [160] To modern medicine, the best researched medicinal compound from Coriolus is known as PSK. Under the brand name Krestin, PSK is used in Asia as a cancer drug. [188]

In the 1990's, two Japanese studies including 486 patients reported increased survival when PSK was used as an adjunct to chemotherapy for gastric cancer. [161, 162, 163] Other studies have shown that PSK reduces metastasis and cancer recurrence. [161, 162, 164]

Two other compounds isolated from Coriolus have demonstrated an inhibitory effect on leukemia. A polysaccharide named CVP exhibited an inhibitory effect on leukemia cell growth with no harmful effect to normal lymphocytes. [165, 166, 167] The small polysaccharide SPCV also showed leukemia proliferation inhibition. [168]

The compounds of Coriolus versicolor extract appear to work in two ways to combat cancer:

1) Through directly inhibiting cancer cell proliferation.

2) By stimulating the activity of NK (Natural Killer) cells in the patient. [169, 170, 171] NK cells are an important part of the immune response to fight cancer.

PSK is used in Asia to treat cervical cancer in conjunction with standard radiation therapy, through which it has been shown to increase survival rate. [134] In a 2001 U.S. study at the New York Medical College, it was also shown to decrease tumor growth in hormone responsive prostate cancer. [172]

Other forms of cancer that PSK has been tested against with promising results include breast, lung and colon cancer. [25, 173] It appears ineffective against Sarcoma 180. [174]

PSK has also been proven as a potent antibiotic, in particular against strains of Staphylococcus aureus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Candida albicans, Cryptococcus neoformans, Escherichia coli and Listeria monocytogenes. [175, 176, 177, 178, 179]

Petri dish trials of a different compound (PSP) isolated from Coriolus versicolor has even been shown to inhibit replication [180] and infection [181] of HIV. It has not yet been tested on live subjects.

In 1995, a study on rheumatoid arthritis and PSK reported normalization of immune function. [182]

Paul Stamets mentions in his book Growing Gourmet and Medicinal Mushrooms that he's aware of several individuals with Hepatitis C benefitting from a medicinal mushroom tea. He relates a story of a man whose HCV (Hepatitis C Virus) value decreased from 1.3 million to 140,000 after two weeks of drinking a tea made from Coriolus versicolor (Turkey Tail Mushroom) and Ganoderma lucidum (Reishi). [183]

Coriolus extract also is rich in antioxidants [184, 185, 186, 187] and has been shown to help the spleen recover after radiation therapy. [189]

In his book Mycelium Running, medicinal mushroom expert Paul Stamets also lists the following areas where research has shown Coriolus versicolor extract to have a beneficial effect: Kidney tonic; uterine cancer. [134]

Backyard Mushroom Coriolus a Powerful Medicinal

By Dr. Markho Rafael

Known in English as Turkey Tail, Coriolus versicolor is a contender for the title "World's Most Common Mushroom." You can find it from tropical rain forests to the Siberian taiga, feasting on dead wood.

So considering these vastly different environments and all the other fungi and bacteria it has to compete with for survival, it's a qualified guess the Coriolus has a strong immune system, with an array of potential medicinal compounds.

In traditional Chinese medicine, Coriolus versicolor extract is used to treat liver cancer and some types of jaundice. [160] In modern medicine, the best known and most researched medicinal extract of Turkey Tail Mushroom is called PSK. It is used in Asia as an anti-cancer drug under the brand name Krestin. [188]

Though the effectiveness against different forms of cancer varies, PSK is currently used to treat cervical cancer in conjunction with radiation. Studies have linked it to increased survival rate from cervical cancer. [134] It also decreases tumor cell regeneration in hormone responsive prostate cancer, as demonstrated in a 2001 study at New York Medical College. [172]

PSK has also been tested with promising results against colon, lung and breast cancer. [25, 173] It appears to have no effect on Sarcoma 180. [174]

Many Uses of Siberian Chaga Mushroom

By Dr. Markho Rafael

Chaga grows as a black cankerous mass on birch, dead or living. It may rarely be found on beech, elm, ash or hornbeam as well.

Eurasians have used it for centuries to treat tuberculosis, digestion, and cancers of the heart and liver. [121]

Traditionally, the black "skin" of the mushroom was removed and the light inside boiled into tea. As a naturally compact remedy, it was conveniently portable to ancient healers.

Modern scientific research has focused on chaga's anti-cancer properties. In Russia, it has been approved to treat cancers of the breasts, cervix, stomach and lungs since 1955. [122]

One modern study from 1998 showed that chaga extract did in fact inhibit growth of cervical cancer cell lines under lab conditions. [123] Another study from 1995 reported that an isolate of the active compound betulin first inhibited growth of melanoma cells in a lab, and then killed them. [124, 25]

Additional research has shown cancer cell division to be decreased by some of the active compounds of the chaga mushroom. [125, 126]

The black color of chaga is caused by betulin, a medicinally active compound that makes up 30% of the skin. [127] The lighter inside of the mushroom is rich in fungal lanostanes. So chaga tea may be more effective if made with the whole mushroom, including the skin.

Even better are chaga extracts that are made with not only the whole mushroom but also the mycelium, because the mycelium contains higher levels of medicinal proteins than the fruit body of the mushroom.

Other researchers have found chaga extract to be potently anti-viral. Two studies in 1996 found it to have an inhibitory effect on both influenza [127] and HIV. [128] Perhaps it does so by helping to stimulate the body's natural immune functions, something that was first confirmed in 2002 and then again in 2005, [25, 129] and which may also help explain the historical use of chaga mushroom as an anti-inflammatory. [130]

Furthermore, alcohol extract of chaga mushroom has been found to lower blood sugar levels. [131] Chaga also demonstrates significant antioxidant properties that help protect the genetic integrity of the cells. [132, 133]

As an interesting aside unrelated to human health, a Quebec arborist uses a chaga poultice to cure chestnut blight. The trees later even become immune to the blight and resistant to future infections. [134]

And last but not least, Paul Stamets (in Mycelium Running) lists the following areas of health where chaga has shown promising results in scientific research: Uterine cancer; liver conditions; bacteria. [134]

Note: The statements on this page have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. This article is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. Always consult a licensed medical practitioner before using any herb (or mushroom) for medicinal purposes.

Shiitake Extract's Many Uses

By Dr. Markho Rafael

In America and Europe, the everyday "food mushroom" is the common button mushroom (Agaricus bisporus), commercially cultivated in France since the 1600's. In the Far East, however, the likewise centuries old cultivation of gourmet mushrooms has been primarily focused on an entirely different species - the Shiitake. Only in the last few decades has Shiitake become a common household name in the West.

Known alternately as Black Mushroom or Chinese Mushroom, wild Shiitake grows in Asia only. The name derives from the Shii Tree, its preferred host, although Shiitake may also grow on oaks and beeches. Shiitake has been cultivated in China and Japan for a thousand years.

Although most westerners are now familiar with Shiitake as a food mushroom, few know that it's also the most researched medicinal mushroom in Asia. As with other medicinal mushrooms, the research has largely focused on applications against cancer, [94] but also on its anti-viral properties. [93]

When it comes to medicinal use of Shiitake, the preferred part to use is the mycelium (the "roots") not the fruit body ("mushroom"). The mycelium contains a higher concentration of medicinal compounds, some of which may not be found at all in the fruit body.

The most common extract is known as LEM, a protein extract from Lentinula Edodes Mycelia. (Lentinula edodes is Latin for Shiitake.) LEM has been shown to have powerful immune boosting properties, [95, 96, 97] particularly anti-bacterial. [98, 99] LEM has also been found to exhibit anti-cancer properties. [100] One study found it to kill melanoma cells while causing no harm to healthy cells. [101]

Lentinan is the name of another much researched compound isolated from Shiitake, named after the Latin genus name Lentinula. Lentinan is a polysaccharide that has been found to stimulate the human immune system to combat cancer. [102, 103, 104, 105, 106, 107, 108, 109, 110] It is currently used in Asia as an intravenous cancer drug.

Arabinoxylanes, compounds resulting from Shiitake-on-rice fermentation, have also demonstrated significant anti-viral activity. [111, 112, 113]

Specifically herpes simplex virus type 1 [114] and more importantly HIV have responded to Shiitake extracts in several studies. [115, 116, 117] However, the previously mentioned Lentinan polysaccharide, by itself, has no significant effect on the replication of HIV. [25]

Additional studies have reported positive results with Shiitake extract in conditions of chronic fatigue syndrome [119] and Candida [118], as well as for septic shock prevention. [120]

And last but not least, in his book Mycelium Running, foremost U.S. medicinal mushroom expert Paul Stamets also lists the following areas where Shiitake has been reported as having a therapeutic effect: Blood sugar; blood pressure; kidney support; cholesterol; liver health; stress; sexual dysfunction; breast cancer; prostate cancer; liver cancer. [134]

Note: The statements on this page have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. This article is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. Never use any medicinal mushroom or herb without prior approval by medical doctor.

How To Discuss Plastic Surgery

By Lansing Plastic Surgery

People often associate plastic surgery with the cosmetic aspect of the profession. Plastic surgery not only consists of aesthetic components, but there is also reconstructive surgery, craniofacial surgery, and burn surgery that are all a part of the field of plastic surgery. This particular type of surgery deals with reshaping and physically repairing parts of the body that may be considered to be undesirable in appearance or destroyed by either an accident, injury, or made that way by birth.

The most commonly used technique is called skin grafting, which is considered to be the transferring of skin tissue. A very familiar type of plastic surgery is called reconstructive surgery. This is when someone has a physical ailment, either through an accident or by birth, that prevents them from living a normal life. The physical ailments that are often reconstructed in plastic surgery are burns, a cleft lip, cleft palate, developmental abnormalities, and for some women, over sized breasts that cause painful back problems.

The most common reconstructive plastic surgeries are breast reduction, tumor removal, scar repair, and laceration repair. Insurance can either cover all or some of these procedures as they are usually required surgery rather than an elective surgery.

On the opposite side of the field, there is the most well-known form of plastic surgery - cosmetic surgery. This type of surgery is performed in hopes of enhancing, or changing the appearance of a particular body part in order to achieve a more desirable overall physical appearance. The most commonly performed cosmetic procedures are breast enhancements, tummy tucks, nose jobs, butt augmentations, face lifts, and chemical peels.

These kinds of surgeries are performed on anyone who has the money to afford them. They can get quite costly and are not covered by insurance. Cosmetic plastic surgery has been known to help increase self-esteem in individuals who feel that their appearance is not what they want it to be. A lot of older people will often turn to plastic surgery in hopes of looking "young" again. While there is nothing wrong with cosmetic plastic surgery, people should make sure that the result is something they can see themselves living with.

Cosmetic surgery's objective is to change an individual's appearance and many examples of successful cosmetic surgery do exist. Good results can lift a person's self worth and esteem if they are suffering in these areas. It can also empower a person of already strong character and improve career prospects. For actors especially, the need to stay youthful is very strong.

Plastic surgery has a place in the medical profession. No matter what your opinion of it, there are many people who have had their lives changed for the better as a result of plastic surgery.

Change Starts from Inside Yourself

By Taiana Camarado

Many people also forget that important changes come from within. This means starting off with a clear mind, so that you not only know what the end of the journey looks like, but are able to plan a path more effectively. This means a route with a reduced risk of encountering hardships along the way.

Think of it this way, if you got onto a plane in New York and were flying to Italy wouldnt you want the pilot to have a flight plan (map) and a clearly planned digital route (another map) before they took the plane thousands of feet into the air?

When desiring to make definitive changes in your life, youll find that traditional ways of setting goals are just not sufficient. Think back to the times you may have sat down with a pen and paper, or sat in front of your computer, and typed up a list of goals which you felt were important at that particular time in your life.

This process may have taken you a while as you consider over what you actually wanted to do" you may even have put your goals in order of priority. You might have deliberated for some time over how you could achieve your goals, but then when you had finished making your list and re-read it once, you just it filed away out of sight away from possible future reference? Why hide the future from yourself?

In a lecture I had, a professor once said that one of the greatest problems people had in completing projects was getting ready to get ready. At some point, you make a plan and then you act on it. Its not the plan thats the problem" the problem is in the plans execution.

If you are completely honest with yourself, how many times did your list get used for reference purposes? How many times did it even see the light of day? How long after you got knocked about when something bad happened then forgot all about what you really wanted out of life. Even more importantly, did you deliberately focus on each goal until you could almost see it, touch it and sense it?

Now, you too, can break through the barriers, remove all barriers in your life, have success, enjoy wellness, experience awesome levels of happiness, feel a motivational spirit within, develop more self motivation, motivate yourself and others, improve your health, be more healthy than ever before, feel inspiration day, inspire others, know the secrets of life, and reach your own potential. Taiana Camarado is a personal life coach and trainer. Her Amazing E-book contains recipes and audios to help you take control of your life and dramatically improve your mind and body today.

There Are Many Kinds Plastic Surgery

By Harvey Frewins

We have all heard of the wonderful art of plastic surgery. Plastic surgery is used by thousands amongst thousands of people today in order to create a more desirable and comfortable appearance. It really is amazing at how much better having a plastic surgery procedure can make a person feel about themselves. But, some procedures are necessary for an individual's health and well-being.

Reconstructive surgery has one aim: to enable the subject to lead a better life. Burns, cuts and wounds that are the result of terrible accidents are commonly corrected using reconstructive surgery these days. Birth defects are another reason for reconstructive surgery, people are often born with defects or suffer from complications. One of the best known reconstructive surgeries is breast enhancement or augmentation. This could be required as a result of a mastectomy or accident, or simply because of self esteem problems. Nose jobs are another commonly referred to surgery and it can be for a number of reasons the subject requires the surgery, ranging from reconstruction as a result of an accident or injury to aesthetic reasons.

Plastic surgery is a surgery where things can go very wrong if not performed by a skilled surgeon. It's also a field where many surgeons have gotten into the profession to make money fast. Checking out a plastic surgeon's background and past results is highly recommended. Good reputations tend to come after many years of good results and there is usually a higher price associated with good results. Remember that you are modifying your body not getting a cheap haircut that will just grow back if the results aren't what you expected. Many surgeons keep a portfolio of their past results and his is a good way to judge their work. However, don't just stop there.

In most cases, you can start by asking your local hospital staff or other medical facility if the doctor you are considering has a good reputation. You may also try typing their names in on a search engine via internet to see if there are any possible bad reviews pertaining to their work.

One of the most alarming aspects of the plastic surgery industry is the number of people who are looking for common surgeries like nose jobs and breast augmentation at very cheap rates. Many people even travel to foreign countries to have the surgery done very cheap- Thailand is a favorite for this. A plastic surgery procedure will change your body forever and mistakes are often irreversible. It's staggering the amount of people who will risk their health and appearance to save money.

Hollywood stars where mentioned at the commencement of this article. While there are many who look perfect there are a few who look extremely unusual as a result of botched plastic surgery or the complications that go with these types of procedures. It's very important to give your body the best possible chance of good results if you are seriously considering some type of plastic surgery. That means thorough research and lots of it. It also usually means serious money - And lots of it.

Hypnosis can Reduce the Anesthetic Requirements During Cancer Surgery

By Rita Goldman

In 2004 Dr. Christina Liossi, studied eighty children in four groups of twenty in Wales. Two of the groups were treated by hypnosis and anesthetic before undergoing surgical cancer procedures, and two control groups had anesthetic alone. All of the eighty children were aged between six and sixteen. Forty children who were treated by hypnosis were hypnotized by psychologists and were taught to self hypnotize themselves. The children were all asked to rate their pain on a naught to five basis before they were subjected to any treatment, then they were asked to rate it again afterward.

Dr Gruzelier of Imperial College in London explained that when people are hypnotized there is a change in the cingulated gyrus, which is located in the left frontal cortex of the brain and this change is discernible during a MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) scanner. The frontal lobe of the brain is concerned with planning and analysis. The cancer patients who had undergone hypnosis underwent had fewer symptoms of nausea, vomiting and pain, and all of these are associated as side effects of cancer treatment.

Dr David Spiegel believe that by directing the attention of the patient elsewhere, the patient who undergo hypnosis got less post operative emotional distress and nausea.

"The key concept is that this psychological procedure actually changes pain experience as much as many analgesic medications and far more than placebos."

More research needs to be carried out before this is likely to be introduced into mainstream cancer treatments. Dr Christina Liossi thinks that hypnosis can prolong the life expectancy of cancer sufferers. However more clinical trials will be necessary to support this. Over the past thirty years, there have been a small number of observational studies and quasi experimental studies which have suggested that psychological factors may influence the outcome of the disease. However there have been no clinical trials that support the idea that any psychosocial interventions have prolonged the time of survival or affected the time of survival.

You wont lose by trying. So if you will be facing surgery you can talk to your doctor and open the idea. It may help you to save more.

Right Age for Breast Augmentation Surgery

By Amy Nutt

Beauty is something that everyone tries to achieve, as we instinctual feel as if we have to look our very best. The media also backs up this claim, offering many products on different networks and showing people with flawless bodies and skin. While none of this is bad, it has a serious effect on people who are younger. As the years go on, many younger girls are feeling the need to have some sort of Cosmetic Surgery, as they see their favorite starts with strikingly noticeable work done to their bodies.

One of the biggest areas affected by plastic surgery is the chest, as in Breast Augmentation. Young women are finding it to be imperative that they have some kind of work done to them for them to feel and look better to themselves and the opposite sex. Whether it is to reduce the size of their breasts, or more commonly, enhance the size of their breasts, there is an increasing demand on plastic surgery. One of the bad things about this is that most young women are only interested in this because of what they see, and also not being totally comfortable with who they are on the inside, in many cases.

The Best Age With all of these increasing demands, there is an obvious question to be posed: how young is too young? The answer to that isn't as clear as one would expect, as the laws differ in many states and countries. The FDA states that a woman needs to be 18 years of age before she can have any breast augmentation in the United States. This was put into effect simply because there is the need for a woman's breasts to fully mature before a procedure can take place, as a woman may feel as if she may be fine with her size after all.

But, there is something that may create a little problem in this. What if the young lady wants to reduce the size of their breasts? It is something that has sparked much debate, as we know the breasts will more than likely get no smaller. Many young women feel as if this is something that may be a little unfair, as they may be subject to ridicule by their peers.

In any case, rules seem to be rules. Many cosmetic surgeons will agree that this is a fine prerequisite, and even women who want their breasts smaller should wait, mostly because there can be associated risks from doing this too early.

Stigma One of the biggest things about any breast augmentation is that many young women are influenced by what they see around them, whether it be just from day to day life or the television screen. While this may be something that is saddening for some, the stigma is something that will more than likely not go away. People feel obsessed with having the best bodies out there, which is something that will probably not change as long as we are still tuning into the TV or the magazines.
